Dog pro plus Kendenup arena trial. 14-16th August. The sheep were challenging all weekend even standing up to the dogs in the open final. They could be runny but also stubbornly resistant to moving. Many dogs had good moments but only a few had sustained good work. The weather was fairly kind with most of the rain and coldest weather overnight. The wind was strong on Sunday and Jane was kept busy, rushing onto the trial ground to reopen the pen gate before a trialler reached the pen. Peter Gorman saw more of the wet stuff than other triallers with the heaven opening for a large number of his runs. At presentations Neil joked that the local farmers would pay Peter to walk up and down the trial ground all week. The fire and barbecue on the verandah were popular each evening despite the rain and it was good to be back trialling in this complicated year. 1 Ken Atherton Ramulam Tobie.
