Wagin Three Sheep Trial  March 10th - 12th

  

This year at Wagin we had a change from the usual sheep we had become used to. They were a lot younger and a lot smaller, in fact tiny really.

They were however just as challenging.  Although small they certainly didn't mind trying to put it over the dogs, splitting and running freely if your dog wasn't in the right spot.  One of the hardest tasks was trying to stop them running back to the let out pens where they knew their mates were.  If you could hang onto your sheep around the ground and get them settled in front of the obstacle's they did cooperate nicely. 

They were great trial sheep and although light and full of run they were very workable.
