Margaret River arena. (Unofficial) The weather was cool, wet and windy in the South West before and after the Margaret River trial but the two days of the trial were magnificent warm sunny days. The entries were low with many of the WA trailers over in the Eastern States for the Supreme Championships. The small numbers lead to a very relaxed trial. The Novice was completed by 3pm on Friday and trailers headed off to enjoy the show or catch up with friends. The open was run on the Saturday and there were no finals for either class. Two triallers that have not judged before shared the judging of the Novice and two Novice judges shared the judging of the Open. This way the judges were able to run their dogs too. The sheep were really great as usual for this trial but would take points if the dogs let them. As can be seen from the close results most good dogs could handle the sheep. Results The award for the best Novice worker who has not yet won anything went to Jan Cornish with Bellview Ted.
