What a great weekend wrapping up our yard trials for 2017 with’ Minnawarra yard trial’ held 35km north east of Boyup Brook on the Harries property.

The sheep were young merino ewes, who knew their way back to the main yards given a chance, which made for a nice challenge. Although on a whole the sheep worked well making it a great weekend of trialling.

The novice and open were both ran on Saturday leaving just the finals for Sunday so everyone had an early escape by midday.

The novice final ended in a tie for first which led to a run off ending with a very close score . There were 20 entries in the novice and 30 in the open.

Weather was on the warm side, however a few shady trees made it pleasurable enough.
